The world of ExoCross features three distinct cars: the Vulcan XC-1500, Orion XC-3000, and Titan XC-7000. Each features its own unique handling characteristics, and to get the most out of your time on Proteus, you’ll need to conquer them all. Today, we look at the Vulcan XC-1500, the first car you’ll experience in Championship mode:
Vulcan XC-1500

The Vulcan XC-1500 was the original ExoCross machine, and it remains in constant use to this day. Racers attempting to go pro start with the XC-1500 in their first two championships: the Vulcan XC-1500 Open and Vulcan ExoSensation.
Perfectly balanced in its AWD system, the pros might scoff at it now, but even they were struggling to get to grips with it in the beginning. That’s because, while the XC-1500 is comparatively low in power to its successors, many of those drivers were used to rear-wheel drive on virtual pavement—and all-wheel drive on the dirt, especially with 750 horsepower at your disposal, is nothing like it!
The XC-1500 is a great tool for the new ExoCross racer. It teaches you to seek out the cleanest possible lines while at full throttle, and it won’t punish your mistakes quite as heavily as the Orion or Titan. Master the XC-1500, and you’ll be well on your way to becoming ExoCross’ Ultimate Champion.
